About Us
Bell's Speed Shop, LLC
is the brainchild of Jeff Schira and Frank Bell.
Frank and Jeff met at
the Dallas-area chapter of the Ford Falcon Club of
Jeff, being well-paid at
his job as a patent attorney, but also being quite bored, helped work on a
couple of Frank's Mustangs (Frank being more time-challenged than Jeff).
Soon they decided that it would be fun to buy and sell Falcons and Falcon parts
on Ebay. In addition, Frank bought the parts counter side of the local
Mustang restoration shop. Soon, Mustangs were added to the
mix.
As the cars started
to pile up, and Jeff's level of boredom at work grew, Jeff purchased a 12,000 SF
warehouse in
Eventually, Frank
started having landlord trouble at his existing parts business, and decided that
he needed to move.
While Frank was dealing
with a problem landlord, Jeff got a new boss who was a real PITA and a
